I was a contract minibus driver for Cols Cars in Lee-On-Solent my job was to pick up Pilipino nurses from St Marys every morning at 06:30 then drop them off at Haslar around 07:15 then pick them up again from Haslar at 21:15 and take them back to St Marys, but because it was late at night I would drop them off at their homes rather than them have to walk from St Marys to their homes.
There were times when I would listen to the nurses tell their scary stories to each other I heard about voices in the corridors and a face at the window and strange noises at night. I use to laugh to myself thinking what a load of rubbish, but all this was about to change.
I remember the night very well it was November 23rd 2003 it was a Sunday night. I pulled up outside Accident and emergency at about 21:05 I was a little early because on a Sunday I use to do my paperwork (hospital Job sheet for the week) in the cab, the engine was off, my cab light was on and I was looking down writing out my job sheet, then a figure in black went past my driverside window as clear as anything but because I was looking down I didn’t get a proper look but even though you see something out the corner of your eye it was definitely a figure of some sort, as it passed I looked in my door mirror to see who it was….. and yes you have guessed it nothing was there, I put my worksheet down opened my door got out and looked around, there was nothing! I remember feeling very sick it came on all of a sudden but the feeling also went just as quick, to say I was scared is an understatement, my hand was so shaky I couldn’t finish my timesheet, when the nurses came out they said their hellos and how have I been and I just said I’m fine, I thought it best not to say anything and I have never told anyone but my wife about this, my wife has told a few people but only friends, the next few nights my wife came with me on the runs, it was a 8 seater transit but the most I ever picked up was 5 nurses so there was plenty of room but when you want something like this to happen it doesn’t.
I did the job for another 10 months and it never happened again.

A lady who can be trusted has told me of what happened to her a month ago.

Quote!

I was sitting quietly in my arm chair, I sensed that someone was standing behind me, I turned my head to look, and saw my brother standing there, with arms out stretched over me. He quickly disappeared as I looked at him.

I rang him and there was no answer, And as I had never kept close contact with him , I felt I should ring the nearest person to his home to check up on him, as he suffers with loss of memory.
They went to his home and found him unconscious on the settee. He is at the moment still in hospital under observation.

Some years ago S.P.I., were invited into a care home in the Guildford Surrey area.
We were asked to record a night investigation, but this also gave us the chance to meet several residents and talk with them. It has been found that many elderly people suffer from all kinds of memory problems and many of them are ignored because of this, there stories are not taken seriously because some carers believe they are imagining it.
On this night we set up a camera in the corridor of Mrs X, her apartment door being at the opposite end to where our camera was situated. Now Mrs X as far as we could see was a very lovely elderly lady, she was eccentric but had all her senses about her. She had been complaining to care staff that at night the children, a little boy and girl, would come into her room and take her sweets from the table. This she also told us was in no doubt that this was what was happening to her.

This is what was recorded from that event, at around 1.30am a noise was picked up on camera 1, then visually you could see the camera was knocked causing it to move. Audio then heard children giggling and running down the corridor but it sounded like there was no carpet on the already carpeted floor. This stopped at the end of the corridor outside Mrs X’s door, it was then recorded, as if a latch door was opened and then in a few seconds closed, the giggling then started again and faded towards the far end of the corridor towards the stairs.

There were many areas which had cold spots within this large building. There were many light sources seen during the night. Also strange sounds and noises which could not be identified as normal.
The lovely gentleman on the top floor, Mr.Y, Had told us he was being disturbed by his friends at night, they would come and see him and ask him to go with them. He said this has been happening for around a week now. Mr.Y was in sound mind and was an X biker, he loved to talk about his motor biking days. Four days after Mr.Y had told us about this he must of decided to accept the invitation from his friends, he went on his new journey. Bless him.

There were many strange feelings in this dwelling and YES, it has it’s extra, very friendly residents.
We believe we all have the chance to be contacted to show us when our time is near, well most of us anyway. It is just up to the individual to accept it. Most of all though it shows that not all of the elderly can be branded with madness when trying to explain what they hear and see.

A letter to Victor Zammit.

I am sharing this with my fiancé’s permission.

Whose Father died the 18/11/2015.

And I Quote: This morning she woke up crying

and recalled this. She was a born Athiest.

This night my Father appeared to me, He hugged me and I hugged him tightly.

He was so at peace, surrounded by the sun, it was a feeling of ” this is home” where I belong.

He told me, he is going away to join his mother, he said he is ok, and he wanted to say goodbye and give me closure.

” I know this was real, I talked to my Dad, he is safe and there is a amazing place that cannot be described .

From a complete Atheist, to a convinced Afterlife Believer overnight.

My Mum xxx
I returned home after my night shift, done what I do every morning nothing different, but for some reason had Mum on my mind more than usual, I climbed into my bed and laid there with my eyes closed thinking of mum and how she used to kiss me goodbye and walk out to the car and wave when we visited and thanked God I always told her I loved her.
I must of been semi conscious half sleep when in my minds eye I saw Mum as plain as day she was laughing and saying what she always said When I left “bye bye my love”
Then I went to kiss her it was on her cheek and I saw every detail the softness of her cheek and the downy fair hair you can only see when you are very close up I did kiss her her skin felt so soft on my lips, every thing was so clear, I must of fallen asleep naturally and peacefully because I knew nothing else till I woke up a few hours later, I must say I felt in myself very peaceful I had a good feeling too.
I felt very close to Mum and loved the memory of this without feeling to distressed.

Anon.

My mum had an ‘out of body experience’ so I have no doubt. An ambulance was called when she was in labour when having my younger brother. In the ambulance she saw herself lying on the bed from over head and the men working on her body. He was mums 9th child and weighed a hefty 12.1/5lbs!

When my grandson was three we used to visit a farm for veg and to see the farm animals. Each time we passed he would tell us….his speech was poor at the time but quite clearly told us this very proudly. .that’s where fire was, I saved animals. ..lots of animals, there was lots of animals.

Spirit from high.

I was talking to a guy today who mentioned a friend who worked for Virgin Airways. As she was on a flight and had a break due, she went down to the cabin staff area. As she descended to the lower deck she noticed an old lady who seemed distressed. She approached this lady and mentioned that this area was for staff only. The woman replied, “I am sorry I did not feel well, could you tell my husband and he will come and get me please”. The stewardess made her way to the seating area where the woman said her husband would be. When she told him he exploded into a rage and was very upset. He said “I know she is down stairs, she is in the cargo area and is in her coffin “. In shock the stewardess explained and described the woman to him, with this the husband settled down and although in shock he realised it was his wife and had sent a messenger to him.
The stewardess had to have counseling after this event.
I am told in honesty that this story is the truth and believe the person who passed it to me.

This is a true event but the names have been changed by request.

Jane who is a nurse was working on the elderly dementia patients ward one evening, when the buzzer went off in the bathroom so she went in to attend to the patient, while she was helping him he said to her” how’s your brother” and she replied, “who” ? He said, “your brother, your brother John”, she asked how he knew her brother and did he come from up country? Just then someone knocked on the bathroom door and all conversation was sadly lost.

The next day when his wife came in the nurse said to her did you ever live up in the North as your husband claims he knows my brother! Oh no we never have she said but ever since he has had dementia he has been able to speak to lots of people that has passed on including my own Father.

You see John, Jane’s brother died when he was just a young boy.
