Hmmmmm, something to consider in thought maybe?

Yes I am thinking of the word “paranormal”. The meaning is there is no explanation for the event on this earth. This leads to the word “supernatural”. This means it is not subject to the laws of physics. Supernatural is said to exist above and beyond nature, beyond natural laws and cannot be explained, really it is shown as anything outside the natural order. It can be known as miraculous but also abnormal. To take it even deeper it has been known as belonging to a higher realm, a transcending nature. Supernatural forces, occurrences, and beings collectively or their realm.

My goodness, I think the descriptive explanation is more frightening than the actual event. Anybody reading that would be more confused about their predicament let alone wondering how to go about it.

Really it is quite simple to understand. Firstly not everyone is chosen to witness spirit activity, if you are chosen then you are meant to witness various events. Yes I can understand the element of fear it can produce, believe me when I say it is not there to harm you, more often there is a reason for the visit and this is what you need to find. First investigate who, then why and then what reason.  No, not all can find the way to these answers, I would not expect you to, but they will not always go away on their own. S.P.I has the experience and know-how to help you with any type of activity. You may know it as haunting or ghostly presence, at the end of the day it is something you don’t understand and would like answers. Others will see their experience as very private and it was just for theirself to witness and in a way they are right, but just take a minute to think? If you could come forward and tell us of your experience it would help others who have had simular events to adjust, just from knowing they are not on their own with what they have witnessed. You do not have to be named, just give us the county you are in if this is what you prefer. If you wish to send us your experiences or would like us to investigate an event just email us and we will advise and help you.

We are often recognised when the team is out and about and many individuals approach us to speak of their own experiences. One I can recall was a lovely, elderly and very private man.

He was in the house with his wife this particular evening and as he ventured into the kitchen he saw their good friend Mrs X standing there smiling at him, he turned and looked towards his wife and then back to the kitchen again but she had gone. He then told his wife what he had seen. This happened at 7.30pm.

The next morning the phone rang to tell them the sad news that Mrs X had passed away last night at 7.30pm.

I was shopping in town a few months ago, I met a friend of long standing. After our casual conversation, I deliberately asked him, ” do you believe that death is the end”? His reply made me smile inwardly,

He said, “I do not believe, only that death is the end. But! I will tell you this, I was visiting a sick relation in hospital who was slowly dying and as I sat with her”, she said to me, ” can you see him “?

I replied, “see who?” She answered by saying, ” your Grandfather “. I said,” no I cannot see him “. She then said, ” but you must, as he is sitting on the side of my bed”.

He went on to say that his grandfather died quite a few years ago.

As written by Peter Haining in 2007, sadly passing from this plain shortly after finishing his book True Hauntings.

1.

Bob Hoskins, a pillar of the British cinema industry, who has made an international reputation from playing a diversity of roles from the Fascist dictator, Mussolini, in Mussolini and I (1985) to the straight man to a group of cartoon characters in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988) also came to screen after a variety of jobs including filing clerk, accountant, labourer and picking mangoes and bananas in Israel.

One provided him with an experience he has never forgotten – as told by Jim Crace of the Sunday Telegraph:

“ When I was a lad I took a job as a porter at the old Covent Garden market. I was shifting some vegetables one evening when I saw a shadowy figure. It was a ghost – the ghost of a nun from the convent that the market was built on. I told this old porter about it, but he didn’t laugh at me. He said, “ Your privileged, son. You’ve seen the lady – your going to have a lucky life.” He was dead right, wasn’t he? I’ve seen the lady and I’m leading a lucky life.”

Sadly BOB passed away last week in the early month of May 2014. He will be missed greatly by all.

The postman

The postman

I had another heart attack in 2004, I was rushed to Southhampton District Hospital where within 48 hours I was having bypass surgery.

I found i was in a darkened romm, there was a doorway at the far end. There was a light that was so bright was coming through, I tried to walk towards it, when figures came floating in. A female stopped me by rubbing her fingers over my face. A man stood behind her looking serious, he was wearing a black and green horizontal jumper and black trousers, also a large rimmed hat which covered part of his shoulder length hair. He made me nervous. A female voice then said to me, ” don’t worry, you are not ready to come to us yet “. They both drifted slowly away into the bright light. I went towards the light but could not go through, it was so bright, brighter than I have ever seen but it was not blinding,

From this light came several, what seemed like large fluffy balls, they jumped up and down and were laughing in a squeaky sort of way. I called out in an enquiring way, “David?”, “Buster?”, ( David was my grandson who died when he was three months and Buster was my dog ). With that two of the images came to the front but did not speak. They all disappeared and I went back into the darkness.

Later my wife visited and noticed square burn marks on each side of my back, she asked the doctor about them. He told her I was a very very lucky man to be alive. They told us that they had to electric shock me four times before they revived me, he said I should not be with us now. I had a few set backs, a collapsed lung and fluid on my lung but I was not worried as I new I would recover, my guardian Angel had told me it was not my time. Thoughts………… I often wondered if it was my Mother who came to me, I never knew her because she died when I was 22 months old.

The Postman.
